Partnerships

Modern World Dispatch considers collaborations that fit its interest in connections between places and respect readers' ability to tell editorial work from commercial material. A useful proposal is specific about the subject, audience, format and intended placement.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly defined editorial-adjacent projects, themed reading collections, commissioned explainers and partner placements across the site. A proposal should explain the connection to our subject and the value it offers readers, without asking the editorial team to endorse a product, service or claim.

Partner placements

Standing partner placements may be considered when their subject and presentation suit the publication. Any paid or partner placement is labelled where readers encounter it. Labels remain visible, and placement does not imply that independent editorial coverage supports the partner.

Editorial boundaries

Partners do not set our independent coverage, choose its conclusions or review it for approval. We may decline proposals that are unrelated to the publication, unclear about their purpose or dependent on unsupported claims. To suggest a collaboration, use the Contact page and select the partnership option.

Our point of view

The world is made of connections.

We follow the threads between places, looking closely at the routes, materials and choices that shape life across borders.
